The second stage of the Poligroup PV plant is now a fact!
In 2022, Poligroup started the development of its own PV plant in its strive to utilize a green manufacturing process and save resources. The power plant was built in two stages, and already at the beginning of 2025 the second phase was completed and is in operation. The generated amounts of energy are used to power manufacturing, with the remaining amounts being sold on the free market.
The advanced technologies used for recycling and manufacturing, and the provided own power supply capacities allow maintaining a high-quality product portfolio at excellent prices. This is far from the only advantage of having your own green energy source. Annually, the amount of renewable energy produced by the PV plant will reduce CO2 emissions by nearly 1,200 tons in the territory of Asenovgrad, where the company is based.
Together with the water treatment and reuse systems, innovative mechanization, utilization of waste and its processing into new products, Poligroup closed its manufacturing loop and clearly distinguished itself as a truly green company. The introduction of various measures to protect the environment and its resources, and reduce pollution has been a priority since the very foundation of the company.
